Poetic License

Taking a brief pause from my righteous anger at the idiots who have taken over our country.

This is Louis (pronounced loo-ee) who is my new baby. Probably he will be my last pet, but never say never, I guess. I could live into my 80s.

Louis is a Maltipoo (dad is Maltese and mom is a miniature apricot poodle). He’s 4 months old and hails from Hickory, NC.

Six months before I was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer, Adele came into my life and helped me through the worst time of my life. This week I got my 5-year clearance from the surgeon, so I guess Louis is my good luck charm! (Adele wanted to make sure I tell you she’s a good luck charm too!)

I bought a stroller so Louis can go on walks with us. He’s only 4 months old, like Adele was when I got her, so his short legs wouldn’t be able to keep the pace Adele sets. Yes, I’m going to be one of those dog moms who takes her dog out in a stroller!
